Governance

Park Vista is governed by individuals who are elected at the Annual General Meeting.

The elected individuals form the Board of Directors which then manages the affairs of the condominium, including managing the condominium's finances and contracting out certain professional services and work.

Board of Directors

Directors are elected for one, two, and three-year terms and are eligible to be re-elected for subsequent terms.

The Board of Directors currently consists of 5 directors:

  • President
  • Vice-president
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • General Manager

Park Vista also employs a Facility Manager who reports directly to the General Manager. The Facility Manager assists the Board with the general administration of the condominium. One of the key responsibilities of the Facility Manager is to ensure that the condominium's security cameras and lights are in working order at all times.

Committees

Standing and ad-hoc committees of unit owners exist to assist the Board in managing the Corporation's activities.

There are currently three standing committees:

  • Neighbourhood Watch Committee
  • Social Committee
  • Trees and Grounds Committee
