What is a condominium?

As stated in Park Vista's Rules and Regulations: A Condominium Primer,

The term "condominium" does not refer to the style, physical structure or configuration of a building or a building complex. [Instead,] the term applies to a specific type of property ownership in which the owners have agreed to share common property while retaining individual ownership of that part of the property which constitutes their own residence.

History of Park Vista

1982	Park Vista is completed.
April 22, 1985	Park Vista is registered as Carleton Condominium Corporation No. 272 by the Perez Corporation. Day-to-day management of the property is conducted under contract by an externally appointed property management firm.
1999	Carleton Condominium Corporation No. 272 decides to become a self-managed condominium.
